1. Core Commitment: Your Words Belong to You
At REFINE (refine.jcnino.dev), we believe your writing, intellectual property, and drafts should remain private, secure, and under your exclusive control.
We do NOT sell, license, or monetize your submitted texts. Your writing is processed solely for the purpose of executing the requested refinement, diagnostics, and style improvements.
2. Zero AI Model Training on User Submissions
Text submitted through REFINE is sent securely to our backend and routed to the DeepSeek API through enterprise endpoints configured to never retain or train on input data. Neither REFINE nor our upstream model providers use your drafts or custom voice instructions to train foundation AI models.
3. Document Retention & Workspace Storage
If you explicitly choose to save a document or version snapshot, it is encrypted and stored in your account vault so you can review, restore, and export it across sessions.
You may permanently delete any document or version at any time through the History dashboard. When you click delete, the document is immediately purged from our storage.
4. Data Collected
- Account Information: If you register, we store your email address, name, and hashed credentials.
- Usage Metrics: We track word quotas consumed per month to enforce tier limits and prevent abuse.
- Cookies & Session Tokens: Secure local cookies are used to keep you authenticated across browser tabs.
