By accessing or using REFINE (refine.jcnino.dev), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Responsible AI Positioning & No Detector Bypass Warranty
REFINE is an AI-assisted prose refinement and clarity enhancement service designed to improve rhythm, flow, vocabulary, and readability while preserving authorial voice.
Explicit Notice: REFINE is NOT marketed or intended as a tool to bypass, fool, or circumvent automated AI detection systems (such as Turnitin, GPTZero, CopyLeaks, or similar algorithmic classifiers). We make NO representations, warranties, or guarantees regarding AI detection scores. Users remain solely responsible for complying with the academic integrity and professional publishing guidelines of their respective institutions.
3. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to use REFINE to:
- Generate, refine, or disseminate hate speech, harassment, or defamatory material.
- Violate intellectual property, trade secret, or privacy rights of any third party.
- Engage in deceptive spam generation, malicious phishing, or automated abuse.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or bypass backend API quota rate limits.
4. Word Allowances & Subscription Tiers
Free and Pro accounts are subject to monthly word allowances enforced server-side. Monthly quotas reset on each 30-day billing cycle. Word allowances cannot be rolled over to subsequent billing cycles.
5. Limitation of Liability
REFINE is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While we strive for 99.9% uptime and high stylistic fidelity, we make no guarantees that output prose will always be error-free or suited for specific legal, financial, or medical use cases.
